About Warmley Park

Aspire, Believe,           Enhance, Achieve

We believe and value every individual and what they can aspire to. We will inspire them to do this by enhancing learning and encouraging everyone to achieve together.

Warmley Park School offers provision for pupils aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties, and those on the Autistic Spectrum. We also cater for pupils with additional needs including sensory impairments and physical disabilities. The school is on a single level and classrooms are organised with an interactive approach for pupils with SLD and PMLD, or a high structure/ low arousal approach for pupils on the Autistic Spectrum.

Admission to Warmley Park School is via the South Gloucestershire SEN department. All pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education Health Care Plan with Warmley Park named on it. If you have any questions please contact the SEN department on 01454 868686.

Warmley Park has had Specialist School status for Communication and Interaction since September 2010. This has enabled us to develop a range of interventions including Makaton, iPad use, and PECS.

Communication between home and school is via the planner on a daily basis. Each pupil has an Individual Education Plan meeting 3 times per year, and a meeting for the review of the Statement of SEN annually.

School uniform is available to order via My Clothing, www.myclothing.com. This is a sweatshirt, cardigan, and fleece with the school logo on it, in Royal Blue for primary pupils and Navy Blue for secondary pupils. Uniform is not compulsory but we encourage pupils to wear it to develop their sense of identity as part of the school community. Students in Post 16 wear their own choice of clothes. Pupils may be entitled to transport, which is provided by the local authority.
